What is your cancelation policy?

There's no minimum contract for PZM — cancel at any time without penalty or hassle. If you prepaid for a year, we'll refund any unused months.

How do I install PZM on a PC?

PZM is a web-based program. All you need is an internet connection. Or click here, type in your email and password and start crushing it!

Where did PZM develop their equipment inspection questions?

The questions were developed from a combination of resources: personal domain expertise, NETA, NFPA 70B, Manufacturers Recommendations, and substation inspectors feedback have all contributed to the equipment-specific comprehensive inspection questions in the PZM software.

Can I print and export reports from the PZM inspection program?

PZM allows users to print reports directly or export any report to either a pdf document or an excel spreadsheet.

Can we inspect in the field where there is not an internet connection?

Yes, the PZM app can accept all inspections while off-line. The software will indicate the data is 'Waiting Sync' and next time you are in a Wi-Fi hot spot or have an internet connection, the PZM software will sync with the server.

Do we need to contact PZM every time we add or change our inspection equipment?

No, any user with administrative rights can add equipment through the PZM web interface. It is important to make sure the filters are set-up and assigned to a new device. Feel free to contact PZM if you need help, we can assist you in adding equipment to your PZM software.

Do we have to purchase the iPads through you?

No, you can provide the iPad, or we can set-up and provide the iPads for an additional cost. Either way, you own them.

Am I able to see my data on a real-time basis?

Yes. As soon as the data is synchronized to our servers, it is available to run analysis and reports on. You can watch it refresh real-time.

Is PZM one of best software programs available for the electric utility industry?

That is our overriding goal. PZM empowers inspectors with its simple interface. It provides equipment-specific inspection questions. And, PZM provides great information, utilities can act on to improve reliability and reduce risk. Last, PZM was made by an electrical industry verteran, for the electrical industry.

Is the confidentiality and integrity of my data secure?

We take great care to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and security of your data. Our servers are dedicated machines, managed by a professional hosting company with experience in confidentiality and security issues. The servers are protected against power outages and located in rooms where access is strictly controlled. We perform a backup of all data each night so that in case of serious incident we can restore data from the previous day. Access to your data is protected by password.

Does your system allow us to track our repaired deficiencies?

Absolutely. You can get any equipment historical inspection records, all active deficiencies, and all repaired deficiencies from the time you start using the program.

Are there hidden costs?

No. You pay a monthly fee only, based on the number of assets you add to PZM. We don't charge by the seat—you can have unlimited users. No hidden costs. And, you can cancel at any time.

How do I update the PZM software?

PZM web-based software is installed on our servers so you always have the latest software version in your Internet browser. When we update the iPad software, the Apple will let you know there is an app software update to download. PZM will send notifications to all users when we add new features and updates.

How does the system set-up, and payment subscription process work?

In most cases, your system will be personally set-up by dedicated PZM engineers. We use your system maps, one-line diagrams and equipment lists to hand-install all the needed elements for PZM to perform.

What happens if I lose my internet connection while completing an inspection report?

No problem. You can complete the inspection and all your data will be saved. Once you establish an internet connection, your data will be synced to the server.

Can I add photos?

Yes however, adding photos is part of our PZM-Pro package. Because photos occupy more space on our servers, we charge a premium for this feature.

What about customer service?

We are a customer-focused business. First and foremost! You can contact us in 3 different ways.

Who owns the data I store on PZM?

Your data remains your property at all times. PZM will never own, use or publish the information you store on our databases. All of your data can be downloaded on-demand should you ever decide to cancel.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. PZM is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no contracts or commitments necessary. You simply maintain your monthly subscription, or, if you cancel, you won't be billed again.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept monthly payments online via a debit or credit card. If your accounts payable department requires a PO and invoice process, we can accommodate that. However, we will process PO-based accounts annually. You can still cancel any time and we will refund any months not used.

I can't get my username and password to work, what am I doing wrong?

In most cases, it is being entered incorrectly. Both the username and password are case sensitive, so be sure to type it exactly as it was assigned. Passwords require 8 characters and must include 1 uppercase letter, and 1 special symbol.

Where do I find my username and password?

There are three places where you can find your username/password. (1) When you purchase PZM, we will assign usernames and passwords for all users as part of the set-up. Once set-up, a user with administrative rights will be able to add and delete users and assign new passwords. If you are still having trouble, email PZM and we will get you set-up.

What web browsers are supported?

PZM is optimized, and works on all modern web browsers. For the best experience, we recommend Google Chrome.

Does PZM have a mobile app?

Yes! PZM has a mobile app for all platforms: iOS and Android.
